Connie Jones practices in the area of intellectual property law and is a Patent Attorney registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Connie's practice includes assisting businesses in protecting proprietary information and creating strategic intellectual property portfolios.
Prior to Altus IP, Connie practiced with the law firm Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP, one of the largest intellectual property law firms in the world. While at Finnegan, Connie gained valuable experience in the practice of intellectual property law with a focus on trade secret, patent and trademark litigation in both District Courts and at the International Trade Commission.
Connie attended the University of Florida's Levin College of Law where she graduated Cum Laude and Order of the Coif. While in law school, Connie worked for Professor Elizabeth Rowe, an expert in the area of trade secret law. Additionally, Connie focused her course-work on intellectual property law studying trade secrets, patents, trademarks, copyrights, intellectual property litigation, intellectual property licensing, advanced patent law and patent drafting.
Connie graduated from the Honors Program at Roanoke College Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Physics and a Minor in Math. She attended high school in the foot hills of Georgia at Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School. She is originally from Winter Haven, FL where she grew up working in her father's legal practice.
Connie serves on the Board of Trustees at Rabun Gap Nacoochee School and is active at Trinity United Methodist Church and in her community of Greenville, SC.
